William Zaki
Founder
Like many, my entrepreneurship journey started when I was 13 years old attempting to find a way to fund my desire for the newest electronics hitting the shelves in the early 00's. Zaki Landscaping was born in the summer of 2002, I hit the streets going door-to-door hoping to land my first client. Fast forward 2 years, I had over 30 houses and 2 of the neighborhood kids helping me grow to other neighborhoods.
After graduating from the Purdue University Engineering school, I went on to leading teams and operations at General Mills and Google. Most recently having the opportunity to lead expansion efforts of Google Street View across the Middle East and Africa. The lessons from corporate are plentiful and these experiences have shaped me as an operator, leader, and human.
After family and work, you will find my appreciating small things in life. you'll find me catching a flight to another country I haven't been. On a basketball court, although these days I'm more suited to be a coach. In nature, I found this love later in life but it has certainly climbed the ranks.
